Brucemore volunteers continue the community spirit of the Sinclairs, Douglases, and Halls. By sharing their time and talent, volunteers illustrate their love of Brucemore while greatly enhancing visitor experiences.
Volunteer appreciation is shown in many forms, but best of all, volunteers have the inside scoop!
There are volunteer opportunities that can be matched to many special interests or hobbies. If you enjoy meeting new people, doing interesting work, and discovering what goes on behind the scenes, become a Brucemore volunteer!
As a Brucemore volunteer, you can:
- Decorate for the holidays
- Direct traffic
- Guide tours for groups or drop-in visitors
- Assist with office work
- Help plan and research exhibitions
- Host parties
- Publicize events
- Research
- Scan archival photographs and documents
- Serve refreshments at events
- Staff the Museum Store
- Work with school groups
- Assist with children's events
