As much of the community works to recover following the derecho on Monday, our thoughts are with you.

We are still assessing the damage at Brucemore. Early observations have revealed that there is damage to each of the seven historic structures, three modern buildings, and 70% of the trees. In the last few days, our staff have been actively working to create access for emergency vehicles and address the most critical concerns related to safety and historic structures.

At this time, Brucemore is closed to the public. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on returning the property to a safe place to visit. We anticipate needing volunteer help in later August after we complete phase I of clean-up. 

We have postponed our programming for the time being, including tours of the estate, Unforgettable & Unplugged on August 13 – 16, and Hair + Product on August 20 – 24. We will communicate again next week on our plans associated with these events, including the following two weekends of the music series. We will reach out directly to ticket holders to provide options.
