Explore new seasons at Brucemore!
Designed to bookend our busy summer events season, this multi-disciplinary series will explore new outdoor spaces on the estate and include music, visual arts, spoken word, magic, and other entertaining and thought-provoking mediums.
Hello Summer
Move from the cold of winter to the freedom of summer with this multi-disciplinary performance in Brucemore’s formal garden. Enjoy poetry, dance, and music set against a background of blossoming flowers. With new works and familiar songs, audiences will join in the artists’ exploration of mental well-being while welcoming the warmth of a new season.
Featuring poets Ruth Thomas and co-producer Kelsey Bigelow and dancers Maddy Benidt and Madi Brauer, with music by Kelsey Madsen, Scott Dix, and Gerard Estella.
Hello Fall
Gather ‘round the campfire to say “hello” to fall! We’re welcoming sweater weather with a night of hijinks, harmony, and heart. Join us in the formal garden to experience all the hilarity of a family cookout with a dysfunctional cast of characters in this theatrical experience. This lively performance offers the perfect opportunity to relax and laugh while enjoying the best sights and sounds of fall. Don your flannel and grab your flask for an evening of fun you won’t find anywhere other than Brucemore!
Produced by Meghan Adam and Gerard Estella and featuring Jason Alberty, Jackson Bartelme, Angela Billman, Steve Rezabek, Traci Rezabek, and Layton White, this event is perfect for fans of musical theatre and sketch comedy. The evening will include original comedic scenes and live performances of familiar songs. Audiences are encouraged to bring their favorite warm beverages, fluffy blankets, and autumnal snacks to enjoy a cozy night of comedy under the stars.
The Hello Series is part of the Artisan Studio live performance series, aiming to support Iowa-based singers, songwriters, and technicians in their personal and professional pursuits.
