Entry times are every 30 minutes. Last entry time at 3:00 PM.
Brucemore is closed for the Christmas holiday on December 23, 24, and 25.
A $4.00 processing fee will be applied to all online and phone orders.
What to know before you go
All Brucemore holiday tours are self-guided experiences. Interpretive signage and audio will be available in select rooms to help you learn about Brucemore’s history. Visitor services team staff will be available to answer questions.
Access to the basement Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar will be led by a visitor services staff member approximately every 30 minutes.
Capacity is limited and tours can sell out. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Tickets can be purchased at the door, subject to availability.

What to do when you arrive
Please enter the property through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE., Cedar Rapids, IA 52403.
Once on-site, follow signs towards the mansion.
Follow signs to the on-site parking a short walk from the mansion entrance.
Please check in with staff at the mansion at the time on your ticket.
The mansion entrance is on the south side of the building, through the front door under the porte cochere next to the circle drive.

Tips for your visit
Please consider leaving bags or other large personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available, but it is not monitored.
If parking near the mansion is full, overflow parking is available near the Carriage House, which is a short walk from the mansion. Please see the estate map to view parking locations.
Tours of the mansion consist of substantial walking and standing. The historic mansion is not currently wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors. Please make the best decision for the accessibility of your party with this knowledge.
Early admittance may not be available during peak tour times and we do not have a lobby to allow you to wait indoors.
Before or after your tour, put on your hat and gloves and explore Brucemore’s ground during your visit! The estate includes a formal garden, a white garden, orchard, pet cemetery, and more that are especially beautiful after a snowfall.
If you miss your tour start time, you may be subject to a shortened tour or asked to join another tour time that day, subject to availability.
Food and drink are not allowed inside the mansion during tours. We encourage you to enjoy a meal at one of Cedar Rapids’ local restaurants before or after your visit.
