Ballet Des Moines‘ annual statewide tour shares inspiring artistry alongside interactive science activities. This year the ballet company will perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Tom Mattingly’s new work Love Letters, following an afternoon of interactive STEM and arts activities. Come experience the whimsy of storytelling, the wonder of night, and the magic of our community. Community STEM programming explores the sounds and habits of nocturnal animals, constellation maps, moon cycles, and the science of sleep and dreaming.
