Create a work of art from the comfort of your home!

In 1925, Grant Wood created a whimsical decorative design of flowers and animals on a Brucemore sleeping porch. Brucemore and iowa Ceramics Center used a 3D replica to create a ceramic flower tile that you can take home to paint.

Cost: $30 per kit (includes tile, paint, and brush) – 

How does it work? 

1. On sale April 1!
2. Purchase your tile through Brucemore by April 26.
3. Pick up your project kit* at Brucemore on Saturday, May 1 or Sunday, May 2 between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
4. Take the tile and paints home to put your own spin on Grant Wood’s original design!
5. Return your tile to the iowa Ceramic Center* at any time during the month of May and they will use their kiln to fire it.
6. We will notify you when it is ready to be picked up, so you can take it home to enjoy!

 *During pick up and drop off, patrons will be required to wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth.
